Counselor Profile
Kathleen Kranenburg is a Certified Canine Behaviour Counselor
through the Animal Behaviour Center of New York and a member of the Association of Animal Companion Behavior Counselors. She
has a Masters of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria.
Love of dogs for Kathleen started at a very early age. A wonderful chocolate lab named Kody had been
in her life for over 13 years. Currently, Kathleen has two. They were both adopted from the Calgary Humane Society.
Bob, a Plott Hound is about 3 years old and is full of character. Remy is a Labrador Retreiver mix, at 1 year old he
is the young adventerous one in the family.
Kathleen has several years experience training dogs through positive methods. Her experience
includes; training rescue dogs to become assistance dogs for individuals with disabilities, working as a behaviour counselor at
an animal shelter, providing private behaviour and training sessions and also working as a veterinary assistant.
